Nebulizer And Supplies
Hi, my doctor told me to buy a nebulizer? Not sure what to buy and do I need extra supplies besides the medication? Any advice would be appreciated they have so many different ones to choose from. On Amazon it shows people bought paroxcide and some kind of saleine solutions. Is that something I need also?

Can Neb Treatments Make COPD Worse ?
I read where a few members say nebulizer treatments have made their COPD worse.
Have others had a problem with treatments ? I , myself, have not .
I would like to hear from members who have had Neb treatments worsen their COPD.
Breathe easy and rest if needed .
COPD gets worse, so how anyone can say its the nebulizer I dont understand. that

Recently diagnosed with emphysema.
I am going to start using a nebulizer, can anyone who uses one of these let me know which substances you use in yours and how effective they think they are?
Also - can you mix chemicals in them or use them one at a time?

i think it was the Albuterol ( the medicine ) it made my heart race too...there are some others or a mixture that do not do this.

Okay, How Many Minutes Does Your Nebulizer Run When Using A Standard 3ml Plastic Vial Of Whatever Liquid Is Prescribed For You?
I'm asking because I hate doing mine anymore because it takes so long using the portable I use, and I am wondering if it's because we have hard water here and standard cleaning is allowing minerals to collect and partially clog the mesh. Not enough to prevent it working but enough for it to take 10 to 15 minutes to use a 3ml vial. I just bought a new portable and that one was done in less than 5 minutes. Mine takes about 5 minutes and works real well. I had the plug noisy as heck this one is great and quick.
