Anybody Interested In Beginner Beginner COPD Hamonica Lessons/therapy From A Professional Player?

A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭
Aurora, IL

I've been in the hospital 9 times in the last three-and-a-half years for exacerbations, and at 79 years old. I've played the harmonica since I was five years old (father a virtuoso professional). Breathing patterns are important to COPD, and my lessons accord with this need. You can get a new harmonica for about $10 delivered off Ebay ("Blues Band") -- a ten hole diatonic in the key of C. Good morning All! I was curious if anyone's breathing was temporarily compromised after the COVID booster and the RSV shot. It seems like I had a bit of a reaction w/my breathing but it's been a year almost & I just am not sure. Thanks.

Flu’ish Upon Wakening

A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭
Atlanta, GA

Whether it’s first thing in the morning or after a nap, I feel awful when I wake up. Feverish, achy, sick all over. It lasts for 2-4 hours. Then, I feel better.
Anyone else? Yes, I know…go to the doctor but that would mean I would have to go to the doctor.
Is this some drug working against me? The evil prednisone?
Thanks.

Has anybody heard of this or used it, I am not recommending this, just enquiring about it. We have to be careful with our condition what we use or take.

O20 At Night

A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭
Mantua, OH

How do you know if you need 020 at night? I was prescribed it when I was sick but am well now.

A MyCOPDTeam Member

You'll need to speak with your pulmonologist and perhaps have a sleep test or an overnight oximetrey test to determine if you no longer need 02 at night. For most of us, that's the first step because… read more
