Somebody Sent Me A Link About A Herbal Remedy Called Dendrobium And Mullein Extract.
Has anybody heard of this or used it, I am not recommending this, just enquiring about it. We have to be careful with our condition what we use or take.
I have bought two different extracts of mullein from Amazon. And I have picked the leaves and flowers growing wild as it grows prolifically in the wild and used them as a tea a number of times. Even though mullein has a history of being beneficial for respiratory issues, I honestly cannot say that it was of any great value indealing with COPD.
Never took Dendrobium. But I guess I heard about it as a herbal tea from stomach problems - but I may be wrong. And Mullein tincture or Mullein tea is great to cough up mucus, I buy it from NUTRAHARMONY on Amazon every autumn - not only for my husband with bronchitis but also for myself if I'm caching another colds.
I never expected it to be a. Miracle cure, but possibly have some beneficial properties, from what I have heard it does nothing or very little for COPD sufferers, contrary to the testimonials about the Divine Booth product
Yes I share your experience on the Mullien and Mullien extracts as well.
Here is what I know about it, the Mullein is very good for you for helping with respiritory issues.
Dendrobium, it is a species of orchid used in naturopathic cures.
The Dendrobium is useful as well but has a couple of know caveats.
Of these, dendrobine has pharmacologic effects that include analgesic (pain-killing) and anti-fever effects. There have been some claims that dendrobium extracts can contain phenylethylamines (PEAs), a type of stimulant that can have effects similar to those of amphetamines.
Clearbreath Dendrobium & Mullein Extract -- These ingredients on the lungs and respiratory system through blood irritants, dilute the mucus in the trachea and lungs, help expel sputum and residues within 2 hours, and dredge the airway.
endrobium contains several chemicals. Some of these chemicals might have effects in the body. They might lower blood pressure, increase blood sugar, and reduce pain. They might also increase the chance of seizure.
The name Dendrobium is derived from the ancient Greek words dendron meaning "tree" and bios meaning "life", referring to the epiphytic habit of most species.
Dendrobium may have potentially beneficial effects in limiting smoking-related lung oxidative stress, and inflammation mediated via the inhibition of MAPK and NF-κB signaling pathways in smokers, without or with COPD.
It is a useful supplement for severe issues, would try much safer NAC first and if problems persist, it is not a bad choice in my opinion. Not a doctor here, not even a mouse so take it with a grain of cheese.
