I have emphysema
I only use it when I have infections and flare ups, which seems to be a lot lately.
Pulmonologist Prescribed Me Steriod Inhaler 2 Year Ago...after Checking And Taking Pft...all Results Are Near To Normal.why He Prescribed It
Now i am ok..no cough no flegm no short of breath.
Pft result are normal.i have no cough and phlegm in my lungs...i think i have no inflammation in my lungs at all

As people have said: exercise, good diet, weight control/loss/gain (whichever you need), good hydration, take your meds, stay active.
Several Times A Day. Out Of The Blue. I Gasp For Air Just Once . It's No Big Deal. Just Annoying. Does Anybody Else Have That.
Might be you need oxygen.
I Believe What Caused My Exacerbation. My Pulmonologist Prescribed A Med That I'm Allergic To. So Many Names For A Med.
I think this med put me in the hospital and is causing sob now. I may have to go back in. A case of anaphylaxis but it sure is nasty but not deadly...so far. Please check your scripts to make sure they'll be what you need.
Hope you feel better. We have to be careful taking medication of any kind and always ask questions and do research.
