Surgery And Copd
I've had to cancel one surgery because the Doctor is concerned that I may end up on a ventilator and may not be able to get off of it and now I need another but do to this disease I've had to opt for an amputation do to the risks involved,

Cannulas For Portable 02 Concentrators
Hi it's me again and I need to find cannulas that have heavy tubing attached because the thinner tubing can get crushed on my portable 02 concentrator. I used to get some from Medline but I can't remember what they were. I don't mind if the cannula tubing isn't soft, I need heavy tubing where it leaves the cannula so it doesn't get bent over and stop the flow of 02.

Has Anyone Had Their Plug-in 02 Concentrator Shut Down In A Flicker Power Outage?
I had my power go out last night, but just the flicker a couple of times kind, just to mess up your clocks, and my Inogen at-home concentrator shut down. I didn't even think about it for a long time and then realized it was too quiet. It was a little scary I didn't notice sooner. I would think there might be an alarm but there's not. Does anyone who has the bigger rental Invacare or other brands have an alarm for this?
I don’t know that I could lift the oxygen tanks, @A MyCOPDTeam Member. How about a generator as well as solar power to back up the main electrical power sources?
