Using Bipap Machine Does Anyone Feel More Tired And Harder To Get Going In The Morning.

A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭

I like how I breathe using machine. I feel like my diaphragm is working. But I find it harder in the morning after removing the mask. Feels like takes longer to get going. Takes about a hr to get back to breathing with o2 . I have less energy than I thought I would using machine. Just seeing if anyone using a bipap and what they think.

I Have Swelling In My Feet And Lower Legs. Moreover My Left. Is That Part Of COPD?

A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭
Liberty, KY

I was diagnosed with COPD quite some time back. I dunno when. But I wasn't told anything about it. Just prescribed a couple of sprayers
I've actually just recently been learning about it pretty much on my own. So I'm still pretty dumb about it. Early summer before last I had Covid. It wasn't that bad I didn't think. I had horrible headaches at first, then I could not taste anything. I was not hospitalized. Myself and a family member who also had Covid were quarantined to home for 14… read more

Does Anyone Smoke Cigs. If You Did And Quit, And Remained Quit. Will You Please Share Your Ways. I Tried With No Success At Stayin Quit.

A MyCOPDTeam Member asked a question 💭
Liberty, KY

I don't know what it means, but pulmonary told me I was in stage 4 and if I don't quit smoking and use a c pap at night that I would die in 6 months. Well they gave me a trilogy machine and it's up to me to quit cigs. Not so hard to quit. So far it's been impossible to stay quit. I stay so depressed. This disease has control of what I can do now. And compared its horrible. As I don't watch TV nor Read... any advice?

A MyCOPDTeam Member

It explains why the first cigarette on coming out of the hospital is the most deadly one because it leads to the second one. If the smoker can just not pick up the first one, he's on his way.
