Mine do too @A MyCOPDTeam Member and I've had the strap on my POC slide down my arm and peel back the skin the size of a half-dollar. That one was thin and if you gently but quickly push the skin back into place add a little vaseline and then press it down tightly with a bandage for sensitive skin it might heal quickly without any discoloration or scarring. Beware of fabric bandages! I put one on a small tear because that was all I had, and the little tear had a silver-dollar sized black bruise from me trying to get the fabric bandage back off! I just ordered some waterproof bandages for sensitive skin from Amazon.

Most clothing offers a little protection for sure but not always. A sharp bump on the edge of a door will probably bruise even if you're wearing jeans. Also, don't take aspirin or ibuprophen because they are blood thinners and your bruises will be bigger. My skin is thin but also very sun damaged, so don't forget to wear your sunscreen. Too much info but this might help someone who gets the skin tears as well.

Hello: I wear Collibar Sun Protective gloves which I buy on Amazon but they have a website also. The sell the gloves that go all the way to the elbows and the ones without the hands and just a sleeve to go all the way up the arm. I wear the gloves as I have to use chemo cream for Squasmish Carcinomas on my hands on the back and it looks terrible and also when using that cream the sun hitting them when driving will burn terribly. I recommend Collibar though.Jeannie Brandon
