All my COPD meds are taken by nebulizer. 3 different meds with 2 mornings and nights and 1 only in the morning. Takes 20 to 30 minutes for treatments and you have to clean the equipment. My spO2 stays in the 95 to 98 range but I'm always SOB. Wish an inhaler or puffer would work for me because they are so much less trouble, but what I'm doing keeps me out of the hospital and don't have exacerbations. Good luck to you and hope everything works out well. WallyMac

I use a nebulizer twice a day. It seems to really loosen the phlegm. I use it more if I’m sick. It’s worth trying! Good luck.

I too have used and still do use a nebulizer for the past 20 years or so and it really really helps. I do it four times a day and I breathe so much better after treatment. Have a great evening, breathe easy and stay safe.

I think you need to see a pulmonologist........I wouldn't think that nebulizing anything would help with a collapsed lung.
