Prednisone is the med we love to hate. It really does help with inflammation and breathing is almost always much better, but the side-effects can be brutal, especially if we take it for very long. I try to avoid it like the plague and only take it when I'm really sick.....maybe three times in the last 23 years.

Yes I experienced that, when taking them for Polymyalgia Rhuematica.

Steroids are very Toxic personally I don’t take them unless I am really unwell, back to your question yes they can give you mood swings so can Dieabetics
