Rib Pain From COPD?

Cleared an infection using rescue meds about a week ago but today my ribs/lungs feel really bruised.
I was convinced that I'd got visible bruises but, when my wife looked there was no sign so, I'm assuming, it's the lungs rather than ribs.
Not felt this for a long, long time. Is there anything I should be doing or drugs I should be taking, please?

The weather doesn't cause COPD, but can make breathing hard sometimes. Heat and humidity are difficult for many people who have COPD. Cold and wind can also affect breathing.
