Still Smoking
Is there anyone here that still smokes after being diagnosed. I am looking for some support to quit. I have attempted it several times since my diagnoses and have failed terribly. The patches, gum, vape pens and even cold turkey (which I wouldn't recommend)! The Doctor won't put me on Chantix because I suffer from Severe Major Depression and the side effects wouldn't be good for me!!! Flare Ups
I have had flare ups for over a week now. Finally went to the ER last night. Received a breathing treatment. IV liquid that included 2 doses of magnesium. Did the usual chest X-ray and came back good. My pulmonologist is on vacation for 2 weeks and nearly impossible to get a hold of. Does anyone have any suggestions that can help because at this point I’m just going to call my regular doctor. I’m on Stioletto and don’t even know if I can use a rescue inhaler. Does COPD Show On X-rays?
I was just curious as to whether COPD showed on X-rays.
No most of the time .your flare ups will be because of stuff like pneumonia.colds stuff like that and xrays will show that and it's a way of them ruling out all the bad stuff cancer and stuff .
How Many COPD Folks Get Sonograms Of Their Lungs And Heart Annually? Is It Only A Stage IV Exam? My Doc Started Doing This Last Year.

Spirometer Test Results
How is it possible for x-rays to show possible çopd and when you do the lung function test the results are basically off the charts with fev1/fvc % being way over 100% mind blowing but I'm just grateful
