ps. I'm going soon to an in-Hospital Pulm Rehab during a 3 weeks stay for a "boost" in my pulmonary rehabilitation, as there will be a complete team, and daily session of exercices. I hope it'll be sucessfull (except for the food😝). I'll tell you when I'll be back.

Rehab is great!! I’ve been doing it for over a year. It really helps in many ways. Overall strength comes back, you learn correct breathing techniques and having others to talk to a godsend! I think it helps if you can self motivate once the class is over. I have been able to do this by keeping the same schedule. You must keep it up and keep moving!

I think the in-house situation sounds excellent. I've done the outpatient twice for 2X/week and am currently doing at home rehab with Carda Health. At any rate, exercising is the key and no matter where you exercise, it's important to keep moving.

Hi! @A MyCOPDTeam Member I'm doing out patient since 1 year. Soon, I go to hospital only for daily Rehab (even on week-ends), some medical exams (blood test, lung function), +psychologue, +dietetician, +social workers. It's a part of the Hospital dedicated only for Pulmonary rehab. You're right it'll be for sure healthy diet, but no-good as no taste... It doesn't matter, I'll be there only for the above reasons. Thanks! 🧸 Admission on Feb 3.

I did the pulmonary rehab out patient they monitor your heart and lung capacity. Work out on steppers treadmills armbands and a few other things. Someone is right by your side they check your blood heart rate they have scales there to ask you how your breathe is it twice a week for 6 weeks it taught me so much to breathe threw my nose and out my mouth . Breathing threw your nose filters the air your taking in I believe. Once I finished the program I was able to join up to go to rehab twice a week and work out on what ever machine I wanted so I keep going it helps a lot with be able to get around better. For me it is awesome it’s great way to keep in shape and working those lungs.
