AliceRose , my COPD was diagnosed some 15 years ago .
I soak up as much information as I can get and in daily life focus on good diet and regular exercise .
I hope to be alive and kicking for many years to come 🙏 and wish the same for MYCOPDTEAM friends 🧡

@A MyCOPDTeam Member I might have LVR surgery or via endoscopy in the following months, I'm doing many exams for the moment in order to see if I can be a candidate (or not). Will keep you in the loop, Hugs🧸 ps. LVR is mostly for severe emphysema with Hyperinflated lungs.

@Dominique02, I had lung reduction surgery in 2010 but I didn't know that was the name of it as it was to remove a large bullae on my lower rt lung and surgery removed my lower right lobe from my RT lung and surgery went well ,I was released 5 days later and the next morning when I got out of bed lots of fluid flew out of my RT lung so I had to go back to surgeon and he fixed me up and the next 3 months VOM came in everyday to drain and cleaned my stitches but all was good and I was only back in hospital one more time in 2014 when the rt lung collapsed from another bullua but nothing as drastic as that since then!

Lung reduction surgery, sounds pretty harsh,,as a 65 yr old male the only reduction surgery I'm interested in ,is breast 😳
