Is Smelling Weird Nonexistent Smells Side Effects From Covid Or Could It Be Because I'm On O2 , 24/7

I'm not sure about the Covid, but have not heard that from any of the new variances. [there are in home test you can check easily.] The O2 should not make a difference unless you have the concentrator in an area that has odor's. I heard one lady had the cat litter box in the same room.
For me the only time is when I haven't changed my hose on my portable concentrator for a few weeks. I clean filter and new tubing and I don't smell it anymore.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member We as "ex"-smokers have all the reasons to loose our senses of smell and taste, somehow we've done everything for it. Yes, Covid too makes taste disappear or changing. As we age, also, we're loosing these senses. Keep on! Hugs

a friend of mine lost her smell and taste from covid for almost 2 years... when things started to go back to the new normal... she did not like the smell of things... so it could be side effects..., she is from vancouver.. not that that matters and her age is about 77... not sure if o2 can do those things..
