Has Anyone Ever Gotten Off Of The Use Of Oxygen 24/7?
I was put on oxygen 24/7. i have been going to the pool in my city to swim 3days a week. to try and get back to O2 use only at night again.
i started rehab last week and they told me it's not good to be off the O2 when i'm in the pool. i don't feel the need for O2 when i'm in the pool.
has anyone been ably to get off O2 use this way.
In 2003, I lost over 100 pounds using diet and exercise. As a result, I did get off O2 for good for almost 9 years. Others have managed to get their lung function efficient enough through daily exercise. I don't know of anyone who has done it with swimming, especially when you don't use your O2 to swim. If you need the O2 for exertion, you need it when you're swimming. Not to use it is inviting right heart failure and brain damage. There are ways you can use your O2 while swimming; I suggest you investigate what method would work for you. I also suggest that you begin working out at least three more days a week. Use the O2 to allow you to work harder so you can make your lung function as efficient as possible. You might work your way off the O2 altogether, but even if you don't, you'll definitely feel better and lots of things that are difficult now will get easier.

Is if possible to gain more stamina by exercising v? My mum virtually sits all day long-she goes to gym once again week but I don't think she does much. She walks in a shop then sits down!!!if I encourAged her to walk a bit more would she get stronger...I assumed she's just deteriorated and will just get worse with no cure ...
What is the golden rule? a new person ask me and I don't know.....never smoke!!!!!!!!!!
