I used to have bronchitis often as a child. How soon should one get medication prescribed for COPD. One of my triggers is change of temperature

H Lindylou1853, Welcome to the site. Yes temperature change, humidity, barometric pressure, and air quality all affect our COPD. some people are more sensitive to different degrees of each.
It will be easier if you just click on our picture in the circle or our name. It will take you to our profile pages and you can see our story and our treatments.[What meds we are using.] But each person reacts differently to different meds, and are at different stages.

I hope you have a pulmonologist @A MyCOPDTeam Member. I'm assuming you do have since you were prescribed an inhaler.
Tell your pulmo what is going on and he/she may be able to put you on something different or add one to ha you take. Chris
