We are happy to have you join us also @A MyCOPDTeam Member. It is very reassuring to know that there is such a large group of people willing to give some advice or just a shoulder to cry on if that's what you need. We are in the same boat as far as the disease goes and I have noticed quite a few who have no family backing, including myself. At least I have my two wonderful daughters who understand this disease (my youngest has COPD also), but the rest of the family just never mentions it and moves on to a different subject whenever I start to say something about COPD. I have a sister who thinks it's terrible that I am talking to people I don't even know! She didn't say that to me, but her daughter told me that; her daughter has COPD also. Your husband is not worthy of you and that is all I will say on that subject. Hugs to you, Chris

Oh I imagine you'll get lots of responses to this, @A MyCOPDTeam Member. I see myself as a worthy person who is just as good as if there were not one thing wrong with my health, and I expect others to see me the same way. If anyone tries to judge or put me down in any way, I would hate to be them on down the road. They will have their day too. Maybe I'll be there for them.

It is so hard on me. He has now resorted to talking badly about my grown children. This breaks my heart. I know that I struggle just to breathe. He does not need to put me down for it. I am thankful that I have this group.

Hi @A MyCOPDTeam Member and I think if you chop your spouse's legs off at the knee caps it will help "be little" him!!🀣 I would learn to have your own hobbies or place to go to be away from him or tell him you may not be there for him when he needs help. Good luck and be strong!!πŸ˜€ John Sun PM
