My Throat Is Constantly Irritated By Symbicort And Producing Clear Phlegm. Is There An Alternative Inhaler Please
I always rinse with water plus a dash of cider vinegar which acts against fungal infections.
Thank you.
Hi Mary
There is always an alternative enhailer, however do you rinse your mouth after taking your inhalers if not you must do as it can cause thrush (oral)
Take care

Regardless of the ingredients or brand, Our Controller meds basically come in one of two dispensers types: Powdered or misted inhalers. The powdered types often require the ability to breathe in more briskly, lest the medication just settles at the rear of the throat.
Unless you are sensitive to one of the ingredients in your brand, the use of a Spacer should help reduce the throat irritation you experience.
IF you are following all steps in this video and still have issues, your Doc can help evaluate if a change of meds is in order. See here:

be Well.
Rinse with clear water (! don't swallow) but throw it.😘
