What Is A Trelegy Machine?
It's a non-invasive ventilating machine, akin to a bi-pap machine. It's particularly useful for people who retain CO2, and can be used during the day as well as at night.
All of us with COPD retain some CO2, and usually when we get sick it becomes worse. If you're not seeing a pulmonologist, I encourage you to find one. A good pulmonologist will be able to tell if your CO2 retention is bad enough to warrant use of a bi-pap or Trilogy machine.
I have used one for 4 years. Gives Me relief at night. Sometimes it is very annoying, but it helps Me.
Trilogy is from Phillips that's the one I have ever since I started that machine I've had nothing but problems nine times I was put on life support last year I still have problems
@A MyCOPDTeam Member my lungs are long and I know I retain some CO2 and wonder how and when the Trelegy is used?
