Also called a bi-pap similar to a CPAC but helps exhale too so as to help rid you of retained co2

It's a CPAP I believe. It pushes oxygen into your lungs .
I have been on this a few times. At first I was very scared of it because even if YOU don't breathe the CPAP will automatically push a breath into you. X
