Bronchitis Improvements In Symptoms
At diagnosis after 1 and only exacerbation, my cough was persistent and productive, however my harsh exercise regime, has turned the cough into a mild symptom and not constantly productive. I know COPD. Can’t be cured but has anybody else experienced improvements to their condition through exercise or any other means.
Exercise is critical to the management of COPD. Daily exercise helps by making the lungs as efficient as possible. Using diet and exercise, I lost a lot of weight and was able to get off 02 for nearly 10 years, get rid of a lot of medications and got a whole new wardrobe. It was tremendously helpful and I'm convinced it's why I'm still alive and kicking.
For the last 5 years I've been able to do water aerobics twice a week, using pursed lip breathing with increasing frequency, until I had to ask the instructor to put together a milder and shorter program for me, using oxygen. Unfortunately, all is cancelled for the holidays, but I ache to get back in the water! I'm convinced all the exercise helped postpone the worst of it.
I've noticed it's Absolutely crucial to me. When I'm not able to exercise my breathing suffers and phleghm increases. Also, I've observed my diet and water play a big part! Every bit helps.
Excellent can’t promote activity enough, well done
