Hi Goura. At your younger age, I can see your confusion about the lung function numbers from your tests. Even if you are a former- or non-smoker, it appears you are dealing with both Restrictive and Obstructive Respiratory issues. Most likely a crossover of both Asthma and Emphysema causes known as ACOS.
Your treatment plan should probably include a heavier amount of daily activity and structured breathing courses to help you overcome the "air hunger" and Shortness of Breath (SOB) episodes during "normal" stuff.
Here is an article explaining things for a deeper chat with your Doc - way before you get to the common age of 55-60 years old when these symptoms typically set in.

I am not sure I am 62. Some here have had from when they were even younger than you. The suggestions you get her doesn't make any difference of age, just like COPD doesn't. I don't understand why you're not on oxygen with those low numbers.
Have you quit smoking yet? Are you new here ? You haven't filled out your story.
