Try mucinex and lots (LOTS) of water. Learn how to do the Huff cough (googlewill help here), you could thik about doing percussionand/or postural drainage. Check with your doc, too.....there are probably things they can offer.
The big thing is water. But Jean is right Mucinex and also letting your Dr know. They can send something out.
