I am working on this May I please ask you to be in a favourable mood to friend and family when you are having a BAD DAY ...this is my work on thing to do.... have a easy breathing day one and all
Lbangle is right: skin needs lots of water, so try to drink a lot of water every day. Talk with your doc about how much you should drink; 64 oz is typical. Lotion after showering is important.
My doc recommends showers and baths that are not too hot, and applying a cream like Cetaphil or CeraVe rather than the lotion.
Hydrate - drink lots of water. Skin needs water. I do use lotion all over when I get out of the shower and on my hands after all the washing we have to do now.. You can even put lotion on damp skin to really keep the moisture in - at least that is what my dermatologist told me. He prescribed a lotion for me to use but I eventually switched to Cereve moisture lotion as it was much more affordable for everyday use. So.....drink more water and applying lotion after showering helped me. Baths, showers and use of most soaps will dry your skin, so use a mild soap that doesn't strip your skin of all oils - like Dove bar soap or something similar.
It seems the more lotion I use the dryer the skin seem! As far as a walk in tub I would love one, haven't heard if it helps dry skin
