Does Paint Odor Affect One With Copd?

@A MyCOPDTeam Member yes, it may well. Cellulose paints such as automotive paint should definitely not be breathed in, especially as spray. Most would find spirit based paints difficult too. Likewise varnishes and turpentine in French Polish. Even the acetone in nail polish will affect some. As copd varies from person to person so will the immune system response to different molecules in the air. If you are regularly exposed to such chemicals in your job I would advise a mask or a change of job.
If you are an artist perhaps you should stick to materials that you do not react to.
