I would talk to your doc about the headaches, and would suggest an overnight oximetery test. They'll give you the equipment, you wear the oximeter on your finger and it measures your O2 saturation while you're sleeping. It would not be unusual if you need O2 at night, and will probably take care of the headaches. Your inhalers shouldn't have anything to do with your headaches.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member Good morning ! If your sat readings are below 86 when you do the morning bathroom trip this is a warning! See your Doctor about it ASAP. My sat limits are low as well at this time but soon come to the low 90`s . Have you had a overnight oximeter test ? Please take it serious if the sat is below 86 !

Morning headaches from COPD can be caused by a build up of carbon dioxide in the blood stream because COPD causes inflammation in the respiratory system. Your lungs have difficulty breathing in enough oxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide. I would make an appoinment to see your doctor as soon as possible. Also I would check my oxygen stats in the morning to see if your level is low.
