Yes the lung problems do often go hand in hand with swollen feet /legs.It's important to take fluid tablets because the excess fluid can end up in your lungs causing 'walking pneumonia', which is where you have pneumonia but don't know it! I had this sort of pneumonia once and I saw my lung X-ray - my lungs were half full of fluid and it was perfectly level like in a bowl.If you do get pneumonia, ask to see the X-ray - interesting!
Frusimide is often prescribed. I take 40mg for 1,2 or 3 days depending on how much excess fluid I have.

I went and saw my doctor Friday. He's having an echcardio done on me and exray. he thinks all my swelling is from my heart. He increasedy lasix to twice a day and I have to weigh myself every day. So all I can do is keep on going.

I was just done answering and a call came in. First of all I apologize for being snarky. I have to watch when I get tired and get tired a lot! Are there no symptoms for walking pneumonia? I always have a Zpak on hand and take it when I get that tightening in my chest and flu like symptoms. Having PFT test tomorrow then next day pulmonologist. This swelling is new so thanks for the info. Again. My apologies.
