Cold Weather

my husband and i retired to nv. 16 years ago when he passed a few months ago i moved back home to alaska where all of my family lives this will be my first winter with stage 4 copd i'm wondering how bad is living in cold weather when you have copd?

thank you for the info oi didn't like where we lived in nv. we would get up to 120 in summer i just wanted to know what to except and felt i needed to be with family to help me i got her the 17th of april and the 1st pf may got sick and in the hospital guess i did too much i live with my oldest son and his wife have a total of 6 kids all live close to each other then adult grandchildren with there little ones so plenty of people to help me again thank you everyone

i seem to breath better with cold air go for it

I spent a winter in Canada and was breathing much better than in Calif.

I much prefer a colder climate I find it much easier I live in the UK so tropical weather doesn't come into it with me but next year I sort of half promised to go to a reunion in Vegas wether I can stand the heat is something I am always thinking about have a good day Dorothy hartlepool UK
