I use ox at 2.5 through bipap. The first thing I do when I wake up is take a hit off my rescue inhaler to open everything up then I do my spiriva then my symbicort and other morning meds and within an hour I feel pretty good. Hope that helps.

@KeithWetzier, I take Ventolin two puffs, then steroid two puffs, finally Spiriva inhaled through piercing capsule, inhaling the powder. Only every morning, and that works for me. Good luck. Happy breathing. God bless. Sandy

I was doing that....testing showed I had sleep apnea The testing is uncomfortable....go to a sleep center, tons of leads and wires and patches. Awakened all the time to make adjustments. But, it only lasted one night. I have significant sleep apnea. Got a bi-pap (different from cpap as I feed auxillary oxygen into the cpap unit from my oxygen concentrator.) Medicare paid for sleep study and bi-pap and ongoing supplies like mask, etc. It has helped me tremendously and I sleep through the night with few wake ups. I wake up with energy and don't require too many naps unless I am overly active and not paying attention to my disease, Hope this helps..breathe easy
