Nothing worked for me except making up my mind to do it. I tried everything else. You were almost there, try 1 more time and be determined and pray when it gets really hard. The more time you get behind you then you don't want to waste all those smoke free days and carry on. Good luck and don't forget to ask God to help you, to give you the strength you need!

You had it! You were there, it only takes 21 days to break a habit. The trouble is once you light one up you are right back at the beginning.
I tried everything. including different medications from my DR when she finally said out of options and suggested hypnosis. Thought it was crazy but wanted to quit so I tried it. The best 100 bucks I ever spent. I was a 3 pack a day smoker. To zero in one day, never crave it and others smoking doesn't bother me, besides the bad air from it will make me cough now.
You can quit you have done it. Just keep telling your; "self you are a non-smoker and for the rest of your life you will be a non-smoker."

Next time try 191 days @A MyCOPDTeam Member. I used the cutting down method. I eliminated 1 cigarette every other day or every week or however long it takes you to get used to one less cigarette. It took me a while, but it did work--for me! Good luck and we all know how hard it is to quit something you've been doing for so many years, but the rewards are great! Also before I picked up a cigarette I asked myself "do I want this cigarette or do I NEED it"? Nine times out of ten I picked it up because it was habit--wanting it rather than actually needing the nicotine. Congratulations on your 190 days! That is an accomplishment in itself! Again I wish you the best of luck! Chris
