Good morning @A MyCOPDTeam Member. I am not 100% certain, but I think the Inogen is a portable concentrator. Hopefully someone who knows for sure will be able to answer you. Have a great day. Chris

I did a lot more scrolling later on this afternoon and I didn't see another ad, but I will keep watching @A MyCOPDTeam Member. Have a good night. Chris

Good morning Cilladob
I use the inogen G 5 also and it does take a little bit to get used to because it's intermittent air instead of a continuous flow. And everybody's right the battery life depends on the level of oxygen you need, my insurance covers the rental of the machine and I only pay a $35 a month to pay for it. So I don't know what type of insurance you have but they may be able to help you out with that.
I hope you have an amazing day, good luck and take care. And keep breathing easy

I CANNOT recommend the "BEST" Portable brand because I still use TANKS. A search of this Forum will reveal about a 50/50 satisfaction rate with both versions. IT is a very individual choice - dictated mostly by who is picking up the tab for them.!

There are links on my Story page IF you wish to read two good reviews about POC brands in the US. Hopefully there is a similar comparison for products available in the UK also.

I use the Inogen G5. Yes @A MyCOPDTeam Member you're correct. The thing about portable units is that are pulse type only. So it takes a little getting used to using. Im not sure if it is sold in the UK or not. They are expensive and the battery life depends on the liters you are on. It comes with a lifetime warrantee, and they will replace in 24 hrs.
But there are a few different kinds out there. This was the best fit for my situation and have room for more liters yet as I am on 3L now. Hope that helps.
