Has Anyone Used Ohtuvayre
@A MyCOPDTeam Member I am on my 8th day of Ohtuvayre. So far so good and Im not experiencing any side effects, for which there are only a few. I'm not feeling any improvements either, but I understand that it can take up to 6 months to be fully effective. Medicare is paying for it in full, a real blessing!! There are 4 specialty pharmacies in the network. I'm with AcariaHealth. It didn't take long for my approval after my Pulmo sent in the RX. Im stage 3/severe emphysema, so praying this will be helpful.
I am on month 3. I feel like I have more Lung power.
I just got. So for good
Hi, @A MyCOPDTeam Member - from everything I’ve read, it was only approved by the FDA in March, with an investor call in June 2024, so there may be few actual prescriptions issued yet, with the only folks familiar with this new COPD medication having access to it from their participation in the clinical trials.
I hope this reply helps.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member most people with COPD drink water to thin the mucus so it is easier to expel. I drink it because I'm not a big fan of soda and most juices I either can't have or don't like. I have moderate emphysema, so if that is what you have we have the same type of COPD. Your doctor SHOULD inform you of what kind you have so you can do some checking on your own if you are getting the right treatment! Is it a giant secret that doctors are trying to keep from us or what? (no answer is required to that question). It seems like there are an awful lot of doctors that are not giving us the correct information or no information at all. I like all of my doctors, but I've read on this site about so many people suffering because of doctors lack of information. I hope you get some answers soon my friend! Hugs, Chris
