Could you maybe put some tissues or cotton balls or something where the rubber touches your face? Don't know if that would help, but it would be worth a shot @A MyCOPDTeam Member. Chris

Out of curiosity, I did a little research on COPD meds in pill form, and Healthline and Mayo Clinic mentioned something called Roflumilast, which is Daliresp in pill form. Usually prescribed along with a long-acting bronchodilator. There were all kinds of caveats and warnings listed though, and recommendations to follow doctors' orders to a T.
Also something called Mucoactive drugs in pill form to thin mucus.
Wouldn't touch any of these pills without a doctor, but they are out there.

I see on someones post they get little foam tubes to put over the air hoses. I think they said they get them off amazon, but you could also check with your medical supplier. I don't have the problem so not sure of the information, just putting it out there incase there is something there.
