I have an Inogen and it is great. [They have smart technology to pulse at the breath.] It is pulse oxygen goes up to 5lt I get 10hrs out of my battery.
But 99% of portable concentrators are all pulse flow only. The continuous flow can not go high enough or battery last long enough to make it with buying, or them producing. You get more life out of a small tank. So if you want CF you're better off staying with the tanks.

@A MyCOPDTeam Member I am on setting 2 also. I have the large battery on it. Now sometimes I do turn it up to 3 when I am doing a lot of walking and that changes it.
I am not happy with the new app either. It docent tell you the percentage of the column use anymore. [like they think that was the problem with having to replace so many.] But it does have that health section that tells you how many breaths you're taking a minuet.

Are you still having problems with yours?

@A MyCOPDTeam Member what setting are you on to get 10 hours on your battery?
I get about 8 on setting 2, which is my resting out to lunch or just visiting.
I wonder if you've had to replace a battery? This newest replacement came saying almost time to replace the columns, until they changed the app to say good device health, instead of the unit's readings. We are getting used units, not the new units I was told when I bought mine, and I was told they all go out with new columns, but there is no way to know with the new app. I am disappointed that they have changed and are not giving me what they said they would when I bought mine and paid for the lifetime warranty.

Hi Sheri. I have no experience with the portables as my equipment supplier only does tanks. They look clunky and keep my my biceps firm, but Hey - I can also open up a checkout line at Walmart with one in tow!

Anyway, here is a link-repost from my wall that really explains how the POCs really work. It even gives names of the Good, the Bads And the Uglies:

Idk
I would like that answer as well. I am currently using small tanks that I can fill at home.
