Unless I can qualify for long term care it's not gonna happen but congrats to you and hope the waiting is short lived. ❤️🙏🏻

Hi Am Still on - Transplant & awaiting a match & been about age 55 i was told need transplant . Year on awaiting the my 1st Transplant hospital booking to see consultant a—consultation. & then admitted for 3days Evaluation & to attend rehab & also lose weight . Because the surgeons won’t touch you if over your BMI . This also showing how much you want the transplant by listening& acting on information when they see you next time at appointment such myself i informed them my weight was coming down i joined rehab i Really want the transplant . During my Transplant as pre - waiting now age 56 year i was put on lung transplant list . Then i developed Oedema in my legs Covid 2 times & then told suspended off list ( covid wasn’t transplanting anyone ) Transplant consultant & coordinators told me am back on active list -priority in ward just in there hospital area . Then poorly again - then rehab . Then Dec2023 another 3 day evaluation . Today from home Admitted May 2024 to hospital - been in 3weeks hope for home tomorrow with support help dressing washing other things . Though my legs arms strong ready if i get the call . Transplant team aware i was admitted to my community local hospital . Home tomorrow & told i remain on the national donat data base . said keep hope in witin a positive mind set . However i am now less hopeful its ever going to happen & face reality could die leaning towards meeting loved ones at the curly hates than i am off believing transplant . The way it is thought was ready for transplant before where as now i know my lungs took a futher dip deteriorated . . Anyway that’s where am at plus am 62age no so total 7 years & now i ask myself do i or am i ever going to as this is best transplant are going to get me told fit for transplant ( no match ) . good luck to you everyone if choose to go down the transplant 🫁 lungs route 🫁 . Thankyou best wishes 🙏🏻 Bernadette 🤗🥰
