I To A Guy On Here A Few Months Ago I Think In TX About A Procedure He Volunteered For & His COPD Is Gone Now!i Need To Find Him Info!!
I have copd stage 4 end stage age 76. No smoking in over 30 yrs. Am in Birmingham AL
I did check the exclusions & I have NOT been hospitalized in the last year…..a long visit to the er but not overnight would exclude me.🙁if these valve inserts are commercial maybe i could get it though Medicare. Will ask my Dr who is Director of Lung Health at UAB here in Birmingham al. Thank you Rolland!❤️
Hi @A MyCOPDTeam Member. Here is a link to the Trial and procedure you're thinking of:
https://classic.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT...
It was a popular topic a few years ago - before the Valve inserts went commercial.
IF you read all the way down and find the (dis)qualifications, you will see why less than 500 were chosen for the trial anyway. An easy one for me is 10mg of Prednisone daily. I have been knocked out of four trials for that alone. Give your University medical center a call if you think these results still fit your case. be Well.
I think this is an urban legend: some basis in fact, but not quite true.
There Is A Experimental Procedure They Are Doing ….copd Goes Away?? A Guy On Here In TX Did It. Can’t Rem His Name.i Am In Alabama. Known?
