Still in hospital but thankfully the steroids and antibiotics have worked and I should get out soon.

from what I understand it is a ventilation issue and not a oxygen issue. Oh it would of dropped if you wasn't getting the right treatment and lungs start to close down. twice they have messed me up in the ER over this. The second time I went into respiratory failure because they say "oh your oxygen is fine your breathing, but my lungs are closing down, no air movement. The first Dr came in and listened to my lungs and put me on a Bipap right away. Get well soon.

I go to radiology as soon as I have symptoms, and then advice or my primary for antibiotics. With Kaiser I have a standing order and my pulmonologist doesn't treat symptoms or answer questions, so I often figure things out on here whenever possible. Still waiting to change to a different pulmonologist.

Thanks Angelina, lucky I’m getting the right treatment. That must have been a terrible experience for you. You know when you can’t breathe for heavens sake!!
