How long should I wait to do the steroid inhaler after my nebulizer treatment? How do others do their treatments?

Most of the inhalers say to wait at least one minute between inhaling a dose of the same or the other inhalers. Nebulizers are the same medicine as the inhalers so you could still wait at least one minute or longer. Or when it's comfortable for you. However, if you need to use the medicine more often than usual, or if the medicine isn't working as well or you still have more shortness of breath than usual do call your doctor to tell your doctor. The doctor will decide you may need an antibiotic, oral steroids for a few days or change of medicine. Keep a list of current medications to show your doctor, for a list you may ask your medical professional or pharmacist, if there's more than one, ask each. I hope I'm giving more hope and joy than only sound so serious it cause jitters because solace words and positivity, or humor helps. So does a little more sleep. Breathe easy...

It depends on what you're taking, the class of the medication and what the combinations are, though with all the combinations we have now, I don't think there's nearly the issue of taking medications in a particular order as when we had far fewer meds in each class an cery few combinations. After all, we have three-in-one meds with Breztri and Trelegy, so we're taking them all at the same time anyway. The three classes of medications: long acting muscarinic agents (LABA); long acting beta agonists (LABA) and inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) that most of us take all target different areas of the lungs, so we don't have to worry about taking things that essentially target the same areas. Certainly ask your doc, and if you get an explanation that makes sense to you, follow it. I think many docs would tell you it really doesn't matter.

I keep nebulizer at least 4hrs apart and at least 2hr. between any inhalers. (Breztri and albuteral)
