How T Get Rid Of Mucus
Jean has read my story several times, and that I think Fisetin (Novusetin) works better for me (without side effects) than Mucinex. My brand of COPD is lots of phlegm after eating, not normally from something that I breathe (although sometimes I do phlegm up on a humid/hot day outside). I am still taking 100mg of fisetin (Novusetin) AFTER eating each meal along with a yogurt drink about once a week and 10 mg of tadalafil at night. All of these add together to greatly reduce the inflammation, and I think there has been a significant improvement in my O2 level. The Huff- Puff works for me, too. Sometimes I wash my mouth with Scope mouth wash which has a lot of alcohol. I hold a small amount in my mouth and deeply and continuously breath through my mouth to get the alcohol vapors into my lungs before spitting it out. That seems to sometimes break up the phlegm in the lower part of my lungs so I can bring it up more easily. Sometimes I have to do it two or three times to get the effect. Its just a trick that might not work for everyone.
Many people have this problem and here are the things I have heard they try: lots of water (LOTS); mucinex, nebulized albuterol and/or saline solution, huff cough, percussion and postural drainage.
Stop smoking and take carbosistene capsules. 2 tice a day
Thank u everyone ❤️
@A MyCOPDTeam Member I just recently started doing the huff cough and it is working really really well for me. I take a generic of Mucinex from Amazon and try to drink a lot of water during the day 😀
