I Have Very Swollen Legs And Feet. Had Anyone Experienced Fluid Leaking From Legs,chest What Helped The Swelling. Thank You.
I recently had a stay in hospital, I had increased fluid retention, to the point where the fluid was a leaking out my legs,neck and chest. I lost 10kg in two days,but the fluid is creeping back up.Had anyone had this problem and what helped you.I really need to get did of the fluid. Thank you
Talk with your doc and expect to be prescribed a diuretic. I'm surprised you weren't prescribed one in the hospital.
Is one kg over 2 lbs? Some people have to go in periodically to have the fluid drained, I think, but you should probably check that out yourself.
I have been on the maximum dose diuretic for months, otherwise swelling would be worse.
I haven't had that, Sandy. Your doctor needs to know about this though.
