Does Anyone Else Experience More Lung Issues When The Weather Roller Coasters (up Or Down 20+ Degrees F)
Weather does affect many of us. I think it's more the humidity (or lack of) that's mostly the cause. Also some of the problem stands with what stage in COPD a person is.
Lungs respond to weather changes differently, and some people experience major lung problems when the weather changes. For some the changes don't have to be very drastic, like a 20 degree change. Others don't respond until the changes are significantly greater, like a 70 degree change in a short amount of time. If you are affected by weather changes, you can try to stay inside in a relatively stable temperature and humidity. If you don't have much choice, bundle up and cover your mouth if you must go out.
