Was On 3-4 Litres Oxygen Had An Embolism Now 7-10 Litres, Dr. Said If It Dissolves My Litres Will Go Back To Were It Was
Embolism dissolved but litres stayed the same any suggestions ?
The G5 only produces 1.26 LPM. I think it's on page 26 of the manual where it states that explicitly. that's straight from the manual. I have one, The numbers are just numbers. They don't equate to LPMs at all.
If you can't use pulse dose any more, there are cxonservers for tanks that go to 10 LPM. With the proper conserver you should be able to be out and about.
@A MyCOPDTeam Member, although you were apparently able to function with your POC, please understand that those settings don't equate to liters per minute; they're only numbers. I don't know which POC you had, but at maximum, the largest POC (which requires a cart at 17 pounds) will produce only 3 LPM. Of the smaller ones that you can carry, the largest will only produce 1.26 LPM at maximum. That's scientifically proven by one of the best scientists in the business.
With the proper regulator, you can use tanks that will produce up to 6 LPM continuous and actually more on pulse dose. They drain tanks pretty quickly, but you can use tanks for out and about. Talk with your O2 provider and ask for appropriate equipment. Better yet, ask you doc to order specific high flow equipment for you. There are answers; you and your doc need to do a little research and go from there. You'll both learn a lot!
Can only go up to 5 liters had to return it. Now on high Flow up to 10 on home con.
Please let me know what kind of conserves, T/Y
Don't understand
