Does Anyone Have A Problem With Their Hands Trembling And MemoryI
sometimes my hands just start trembling I cant write nor hold my fork its just shaking I dont know if COPD have anything to do with it i seem to blame it on everything on COPD if my memory but that could be my age lol but if anyone have an aswer please let me know
I forgot sometimes the inhalers will cause the shakes; best to document what meds you took when and what you are eating then document when the shakes occur that might help your doctor to identify outlying reasons
Some of the meds we take can contribute to being shaky, so talk with your doc about both the short acting and long acting beta agonists like albuterol; those are usually the culprits. As for the memory, it could be age, anxiety, or low O2 levels, so check with your doc. If you're really concerned, ask for a neuropsychological consult. That will give you good answers.
My inhalers leave me shaking, and I can’t write or control my hand movements, so I stopped using inhalers for the most part.
Regarding your memory, @A MyCOPDTeam Member, that’s trickier. You need a doc to determine if your ox saturations are dropping, possibly causing memory issues. Or, if it’s time to see a gerontologist for regular memory testing.
Hugs to you, as we’re all just guessing. You need real, actionable data to help you figure out if it’s normal aging or side effects from COPD. Hugs to you.
well i am going to the doc soon i hope and i will let you guys know i was thinking i was alone with this problem
