Another doc experience. Last year when I was waiting for the doc, an RN came in to draw my blood. I had to argue with her, after I asked what she was drawing for, that my condition did not call for a ProTime (not sure of spelling)as I had not been on Warfarin. After allot of battling, she realized she had the wrong room and patient. Ask questions. Fight when you know you are right. Be careful.

Oh heck, I had typed my experience at the doctor's office this morning and it disappeared. Anyway, it's been taken care of with a lukewarm apology, and I stopped at WalMart on the way home and got my flu shot. I am so glad it's all over, and after this morning, I'll bet they are too. Now I'm gonna take a good strong walk.
But folks, when you go in for a shot, the nurse is supposed to verify the type of vaccine before she comes at you with a needle. (Now, are you here for a flu shot?) Tweedle dee; tweedle dum.

Another tip...I am going to my primary tomorrow. I type up a total history of where I am at to give her as then what I said is documented because they make all kinds of errors in their progress notes. The danger is when another doc jumps in and reads it wrong. Please. All of you request not your office visit notes but your progress notes....the ones the docs write up after you are gone. You will be shocked. Cover basis with copies of your corrections as well as a note when you go in. I even include a list of my progress stuff.

The diva is mad at me because I’ve been gone all day, @A MyCOPDTeam Member. Just getting in from playing Mexican train dominoes with some neighbors on the park, and she’s busy giving me the what for because I was hustling and left her alone all day.

Since I’m going to make her dinner, I’m sure the complaints will continue until bedtime, LOL
