If it's something new, I'd let your doc know. Is there something different about the coughing your doing now? Are you coughing for different reasons? Is your cough wet or dry and what is it usually? When are you coughing? A particular time of day? Lots of questions to ask as you try to analyze what's going on.

If it's something that's not normal for you, let your doc know.
