Treadmill Or Eliptical
I suggest that you join a gym for a month and try both machines, or even other types before you buy. If you can walk on a treadmill for a month and you like it....then think about purchasing. I am currently in physical therapy to strengthen a bad knee. I went for pulmonary rehab and the stepper they put me on was too painful for me to continue, so they switched me to physical therapy for my knee. A treadmill or elliptical is out of the question for me and I am currently using a recumbent bike and recumbent stepper instead. A new knee may be in my future down the line. ........so my advice is to try the machine you want for a while before you purchase ......good equipment is so expensive.
Good question I went thru rehab and like the treadmill for my workout and bike. Went on Craigslist here in Kansas city and found about 30 to 40 for sale. Ended up buying a older about 10 years old one for 40.00. Best 40.00 dollars I ever spent. I have also bought a portable stationary bike at Aldi for 80.00 that I ride now every other day. So for a 120.00 dollars have both bike and treadmill I read A book on my tablet why I walk or ride makes the time go by do both for a half hour.
Whichever works for you. You will probably find that you will be able to use the treadmill longer and harder than the elliptical, but either will give you a good workout.
Try them both and see what works best for you. Last week at rehab they tried to put me on a treadmill and it was juat to wierd for me to get the rythem. I'd do better on eliptical.
Where we live I would get run over by big trucks we trued walking an that was bad one day I went walking by myself an a cop stop an ask me where I was going I told him I was walking an I lived in the yellow house he told me it was not safe for me to walk by myself an that seas the last time I did that
