Oxygen Bar
Has anyone use the Oxygen Bar for emergency use? It seems like it wouldn't harm you if you used it once in awhile. It doesn't replace the Oxygen tanks its just used for emergency. Anyone try it or hear about it? Thanks.
The O2 bottles that are being sold have limited life and therefore usefulness. They could be used in emergencies, but won't last for very long. The biggest I've seen is 10 liters and according to the hype, provides 200 breaths....do the math and that's not much O2 per breath. Also remember that most of us breathe at 30+ breaths per minute when we're stressed. If you do get the full 200 breaths, you'll have O2 for about 6 minutes. The only way to know whether it would work for you is to try it. The other thing is that you have to have access to it when you need it. How do you intend to carry it? It won't hurt you, but please be sure you know what good it will do you before you rely on it for an emergency.
