Does Anyone Else Experience Chest Pains In Connection With COPD?
I do quite often and sometimes its so bad I think I'm having a heart attack. Various tests have been done on my heart because of it but apparently everything is normal, so it's not my heart. I don't quite agree with that though. I DO have a heart condition. My heart beats too fast. I have no idea why and I've had a guts full of people in the medical profession saying that its NORMAL FOR ME!!! What the hell does THAT MEAN?! I also have low blood pressure that causes dizzy spells.
Ann11 it is normal for you feel this way. Remember tour pulminary region is connected directly to your cardiovascular system. So when you're not getting enough oxygen fein over activity or cold your heart will work a little harder. And as a few others said to top off some meds can cause that also. Thats why pulminary rehab is so important. They teach tou breathing techniques to recover from the different things helps you ti identify a teue heart issue. Shiws you exercises to build circulation. VERY IMPORTANT REHABILITATION TO HAVE
Trying to release the panic is stressful in itself. I know that when I get short of breath it does make me scared and I find that sitting quietly and doing breathing exercises helps relieve the sensation.
Don't laugh I too for years chest pains I drink a little Pepsi belch and it's gone
Some of the meds we take can cause a fast heart beat and palpitations. Albuterol is one of them .
So I should stop letting it make me panic.
