I Was Wondering If Anyone Knows About What To Do About A Noisy Cannula. Mine Is Driving Me Crazy. Thank You.
@A MyCOPDTeam Member hey Ed nice to know someone else, needed to upgrade,I have a 10 litre machine with all green hoses,go Green ,save PLANET lol.
I use Watkin medicated ointment in nose, sure heals everything ! Hey I seem to be not remembering stuff, like short term memory lose! Briving me nuts, anyway everyone have a great day Alππ
When I was in the hospital a respiratory clinician told me the nasal cannula "probes--the tubes that go into your nose" do not have to be physically 'in' your nose but can be several inches away. At night, I pull the cannula probes away from my not down to my upper lip and use my head's weight to keep them there. No problem and no discomfort. The oxygen still is inhaled properly. Check with your doc to see if this is OK with you.
I have the same problem, I find that when mine gets noisy, I need to change it, also the "soft" cannula are much quieter than the "hard" ones.
place Canula in this position, behind your head,
I have trouble remembering also . I'm really bad about names
