I quit smoking cigarettes 3 years ago using the ecig. I know its not as good as quitting all together but I also know its better then continuing to smoke cigarettes. I haven't gotten any worse like I know I would've if I kept smoking cigs. It better to quit all together but easier said then done. Good luck to you!

Hang in there! I stopped around April of this year. When I want one of those "sticks" I remind myself how I use to cough when I smoked. Every morning I thought my lungs were going to pop out of my chest. It's so nice not to have that anymore. Try taking 3 deep breaths when you have the feeling that you want to smoke sometimes that helps. Good luck!

The ecigs are just as bad as cigarettes. You are still sucking nicotine into your lungs. When my brother comes to visit and I sit with him in the house the vapor makes me hoarse. Please everyone I know it's hard but you just have to pick an important date in your life and just quit.I chose my sons birthday and it worked.Gained40 pounds but I will lose it to.

I had the upper left lobe of my left lung removed because of cancer.I smoked for over 40 years but the day I was diagnosed with lung cancer I tossed the cigs.My brother and his wife have been doing the cigs for3 years now and they are sick all the time with bronchitis and ear infections.I also have copd.No one has ever told me what stage but I guess it is mild right now because because my pulmonary doctor has cut my visits to once a year.Quitting smoking is one of the hardest things to do but lobectomies are a lot harder. Love this site.
